I decided to get a new semi 22, ended up with a Dlask DAR 22. Very happy, ordered Monday arrived on Thursday. I wanted to get the target chamber but received a phone call and talked with me about target chamber. They recommended going with the sporter chamber, said I would be happy with the accuracy. They were correct. Excellent service from Dlask.

Fat fingers sorry wrong key.

The rifle finish is great, very well put together. As good as quality as any high end rifle I have purchased. I had there trigger job done and XB-5 compensator installed. Trigger breaks just over 2.25 lbs with my gauge.

I went to range today and tried out 6 different types of ammo. One malfunction in 300 rounds. I tried high velocity and standard, standard gave best results. Not best of conditions for testing a bit windy. Lapua standard plus was the winner. Next best was CCI standard velocity.

I am not the best shot, I find 22 difficult to shoot consistently. Very humbling when I shoot 22. Everything needs to be perfect or it shows up on the target. My groups are decent for me and I am happy with them. Need more trigger time.

Sorry for poor pictures. Done at 50m

Great shooting for a semi. I find the sk standard plus seems to work well in just about anything. It's been my go to for my 3 bolt guns. It works better than the center x,rws 50,federal ultra match. Any issues cycling the semi with STD or subs.

Point taken however everone knows the barrels are heavy. Thats one reason why they offer short barrels.
If he only offered 16"+ barrels, Im sure more would comment on weight.
Guess 22forever didnt read my whole post either. Maybe he should!

One stovepipe with Aguila standard velocity. Everything else all good. Didn't try sub velocity.

Federal 40 gr also grouped ok. Not AE. Stuff in blue box. All around 1" @ 50m. Good for plinking.

Shot 20 rounds of each ammo separately then did groups. I hoped that would be enough to settle barrel.

just out of curiosity how do you measure your groups? If that grid on your targets is close to 1" squares then your measuring is off by quite a bit. I measure outside to outside of the two farthest rounds and subtract one bullet diameter to give you center to center

Mighta seen my list in another thread but....

Here's mine, also does really really well with CCI SV! Topped with a Nikon prostaff II rimfire 4-12x

These targets all at 45 yards, 5 rounds on each. CCI SV.

Don't go by grid. I use a caliper and subtract bullet diameter. I like those targets for shooting groups. Pick a aim point on the corners .
