What a blast! (some pun intended)
Six of us ended up taking the course. We were on the range from 8:30am to about 6:30pm with a short break for lunch, ~650 rounds downrange. Lots of practice at distance to weed out what works from what doesn't, lots of work on prepping that trigger and reading that front sight. Stage analysis and how to get the most out of a walkthrough.
I found that I learned about 40% from what Steve taught to the entire class, 40% from what he told me specifically, and 20% just from throwaway comments or guidance being given to other shooters. Now I'm pumped to practice it!
Thanks to May for coming down to assist, and to Andy and Jeff showing up during the day and staying to help out.
