This is a little different as the above has no letters in the S/N 62###.
The only letter distinguishable above the stock is an "N" which would put it in the correct year of 1966.
Does any one have a similar model to either confirm or deny.

Does it have a Vent Rib Barrel, if so its nota Mohawk 600 it's an Origional 600.. They didn't make the Mohawk in 350 Mag. So it must be an Origional 600. Would like to see some photos of it. And if your interested in selling let me know.

Thank you for clarifying that. With your comments and the Wikipedia details, I called him back. It would be a Original 600. He said there were only 64000 made and he rates it at 98%. It was his call it was a Mohawk . . . not mine. He bought it for less than $800 and it does not sound as if it will ever be for sale.

is it Jim's???? if so I know the original owner.........oh and I shot it a couple times.........it was one of the few I didn't buy from the original collection
