Dating a Remington nylon 66

Nov 1983 if this chart is correct. http://www.nylonrifles.com/wp/2009/11/datecodes/ I also have one of them but mine is a Brazillian copy from when CBC bought the tool and dies from Remington.

That is what I thought also but then I read that rifles without serial numbers were pre-1967.... and I should have mentioned the rifle has no serial numbers anywhere including the metal receiver cover.

Same as mine and when I registered it I got a sticker from CFC to put on it. I could find no serial number and a few years later found one at the end of the barrel on the bottom.

Hey Dave, I'm in the same boat! Bought one on a whim, took it to the range to try it out and bloody 'ell if I didn't like the heck out of it! Mine dates to October 1959 and looks great, works great, and impressed the heck out of me. Plastic fantastic!

Dating a nylon 66, do you take her out for dinner and a movie, or CCI's and gophers?

Mine is showing manufactured in 1979 if you go by the codes. I bought it new in around the mid 1980s .Seems odd it was sold so long after manufacture date. Found the F.A.C. I got to purchase the rifle dated 1985.
