One of my daughters isn't likely to be a hunter either. She shot a few ducks and that was the end of that. She will go target shooting with .22 handguns, .22 rifle and .223 though. She's about as girly as they get, but the handgun cool factor wins.
Doesn't matter, as long as they understand that guns are not bad, and that it is people who are bad. And to stay clear of bad people.
