My daughter is going to get surprised tonight by her new carbine, it seems like only the other day she starting shooting her Henry Mini Bolt Youth, Troy Northern Guard 14.5 inch carbine with a Aimpoint Micro, once the weather warms up will start getting her acclimatized to her new carbine..

Thank you that's the ultimate compliment, I figure part of my legacy is introducing my children to the sports and community that I greatly enjoy.

I have three kids that I've introduced to shooting sports and they all enjoy it. It's the best thing we can do as parents I figure, introduce them to as much as possible and allow them to decide what they like and don't like.

Nice! If I wear a dress with frills and giggle like a little school girl over Justin Bieber will you adopt me?

Lucky girl and a luckier dad to have their child interested in the same hobby! I got all my boys shooting and bought my 8 year old a .22 last year ( only one who took a lot of interest). I went the reverse and got my parents ( 62 and 64) into it. My mom just passed her RPAL a couple weeks ago, and can't wait to go shopping for a pistol!

That is a nice rifle! I don't know how you can wait to take it out! Cold weather be damned... It's a Northern guard!

Great Dad award is yours and bonus points for such a sweet toy. My girl has gone from a .22 bolt/repeater to a 10/22 and now is onto her first center-fire rifle a SKS with ATI stock. She likes it when she hits her target and is learning firearms safety all at the same time, which is something all children should learn.
