So last year I bought a Stevens 200 in .243 for my 11yr old daughter.

Put a scope on it and Finally got it to the range on the weekend......put some factory ammo (Federal Power shok 100gr soft points) through it just to sight it in.

Shot # 1 was a little off so I readjusted...then put 3 more shots through it.....I was kind of impressed with the results. 3 shot group at 100yrds is circled

Yeah I was quite surprised with how good the stevens shoots when I picked mine up. Any rifle that can make rounds touch each other on paper consistently is great let alone a rifle that with a scope can be under $500

HAHA ya right!!! my buddies has the same gun in 243 and his shoots groups just like that they are very accurate guns and i was impressed also!!!

It was just a good hearted joke meant to reel in the anti-savage guys :p.

But I see they're not biting tonight....better try tomorrow night or early tomorrow morning...thats when they feed.

I've got nothing but good words for Savage. From the techs who seem to actually know what they're talking about, and not just spec sheets, to the fantastic, accurate, and reliable firearms that come from "the shop". :)
