David Tubb CS Op Rod Spring??

Hoping someone more knowledgable will confirm this but from what Ive read theres a minimum safe weight for the m14. Dont take my word for it Im a Gunnewb. This guys a much respected m14 cat.

"What is the weight of the trigger pull? Measure it carefully …4 and 1/2 lbs is the absolute MINIMUM safe weight. If it is less than 4 ½ lbs, then the hammer may follow in some circumstances. … especially if the rifle is not held tightly against the shoulder. This is called BUMP firing."

I didnt measure mine but had read stuff like this and knew it was lower than 4.5
I would more care about the repeatability of trigger pull even more so with many of these norks I have come accross. There creep, break or take up can be a pain in the back side. The first thing I do before touching springs. (Witch can lead to other issue's such as lack of striking power to ignite hard primers.) Is to get a winged plunger and do the Hungry Hockey Hammer-time. He discribes it as playing with your trigger for an entire game. It smooths out the trigger pull and also get's you use to the trigger. Then there are certain spots to buff on the hammer hook's but I won't get in to it here. As alot of people have a tendicy to over do it.
