Dawson Precision suppliers in Canada..........need an ICE magwell

pretty much SOL, ice doesnt work for IPSC classic anyways IIRC, try murray gardner and the techwell he has

edit: I now realize that dawson makes an ICE for 2011s.... yea I've got a one track mind. in that case, no advice lol

Thanks guys......Chemo, what is the width of the ICE (trying to find it online but can't) in that is it 35mm and less (for IPSC Classic as was guessed)?
I have an SV on my current STI 1911 but don't like the system...

I got rid of the single stack ICE I had, but I can tell you it is definitely too large for classic division.

Thanks Chemo......too bad its too big.
Riot, I did look at a Techwell........nice, but you have to use their grips I understand.......as that is the mechanism that holds the magwell in place.......too bad really, as I like to be able to customize and coarsen up the texture.

That's correct. But there are a few grip options. (I've traded my VZ diamonds for the alumigrps that come with the Techwell.) There are G10 grips (tactical diamond, I think) available.

The alumigrips aren't as aggressive as my current VZs, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for the increased mag opening. If they don't work out, I'll probably go back to grip tape overlays.

I may try milling a slot on my VZs to match the Techwell magwell tabs...

yea you can just make the same slot in the bottom of your grips that the techwell ones have, search google and its pretty easy to find threads about it
