Day at the range Manitoba Style (2)

We are experiencing some rather warm weather in Manitoba so out for a little fun! Shot 100 yards .22 and 385 / 600 yards .308 / .223. And yes, one of the shooters got the golf ball at 385 yards.

Can't quite make out the targets at 385 yards with my camera. Target in foreground is at 100 yards for .22.

Don't forget the lack of snow makes accessing these spots quite easy. I was out yesterday as well.

I heard Seven Sisters has a long range now.

Rule for golf ball is - hit in four shots or it doesn't count. Shooters involved have had success, this time only one shooter attempted it, there were too many other things to experiment with. We are just not that successfull at finding them after they are hit. When I get one at 600 I will make every effort to retrieve it. That's where those 50 power scopes shine.

Being new to long range shooting, I really need a lot of pointers. And you folks are out having my kind of fun! If you ever need a coffee boy for the day, I'm your man! This is about all the precision I could muster for the day. 200 yard with a 17hmr.
