DBM kit for Remington 700 5R?

Hi everyone,

Really have been wanting to get a detachable box magazine kit for my 5R (HS precision stock). Im just looking for a good quality kit with two 5rd mags and I'm not concerned with price.

What kits are people happy with/would you recommend?
Which kit would require the least amount of fitting?
Where/who should I order it from?

Ive looked the offering from a few brands and I just figured I'd put a post here to see what people have been happy with and would recommend before making a final choice.

Stiller makes a DBM that will fit the factory inlet. All you have to do is open up the inside for the box.

Email Gary at bighorn thereamerguy@yahoo.ca he has tons of options and is very helpful in getting you rigged up. I personally like surgeon bottom metal with magpul ai mags, but seekins, stiller, ptg, badger, accurate mag, etc are all good options and will all take ai style mags. Some will require inletting but if money is no issue the world is your oyster! Also an hs bottom metal is an option and probably the cleanest looking but I think they feed like crap.

Warden70/propliner- I had looked at HS precision and was leaning that way, good to hear the quality is as high as one would expect. Thank you for the added confidence.

Not sure how close the magpul one is to a drop in. I know is it's very close.
I just put on in my brothers' rifle. So far I think it's great. It's idiot proof. Mag fits very very well. Nicest feeding gun I've tried yet.
And it was only 150$ after taxes and shipping with a mag.

Neat idea. Easy fit, but proprietary mags.

I've done an Atlasworx on a Remy 700 and a PTG on a Savage10. Both took lots of very careful handfitting. Doable DIY with basic tools.
 
Thank you very much everyone, I think Im leaning towards HS precision, just beed to find someone who has it in stock or can order it for me. This will make the rifle a lot nicer to use.
