DCL and PVD coats - where to find it in Canada?

Any chance you guys know where I can find a good place to get a DCL and PVD coat on handguns?

Is DCL Diamond like Carbon? Diamond like carbon (DLC) is applied with a PVD machine. I would guess this type of service is beyond most firearms companies in Canada because Diemaco/Colt Canada outsourced their metal coating processes.
Unless you want the frame done just buy new parts already coated, the prep on used parts to coat them properly would cost a fortune and most likely make the parts dimensionally out of spec.

thx for the reply, I wish I could buy a new frame, thx to Mr black face! Well, I have to try, if we can’t find a place to do PVD, ceracote it is! I am looking to do a good maintenance on my 2011’s as they are getting to a stage that I need to replace everything.

Not sure if they’re still around but CDN Gunworx in Oshawa Ontario does both PVD and DLC coatings for firearms. They don’t have a website. They advertise through Facebook and instagram. Maybe give them a call.

Also seen an old thread that S&J hardware does DLC coatings. Maybe ask them if they still do.
