Just wondering what you all think of the DD M4 V7 that Canam and Wolverine have on sale! I have missed out on a few of these sales and I think I am down to wanting something in a colt or A DD. This will be my first ar style and want something half decent which I know these are, so just wanting some feedback from those who bought them!
cheers Bob

You'd be hard pressed to find a negative review of any DD rifle. Hand the CC over, you won't be disappointed. I have a M4V5 and it runs like a champ. Eats any ammo and plenty accurate out of the box. I sure wished I got the price they have on the v7 back when I bought mine a couple years ago.

I ordered a Colt 6920 Magpul Black from IRunGuns and a Daniel Defence M4V7 from Wolverine 2 weeks ago, and I now have both in my hot little hands. Both are excellent. With the furniture being the difference. Both sport the "keyhole" mark noting that both upper and lower recievers were made in the same place anyway..... So that left internals as the major difference. And really... I can't tell the difference myself between the 2, I'm a first timer too. The DD trigger has some grit feeling too it, but that's it. Little different styles, but both go boom really well. I prefer the Magpul furniture setup better I suppose compaired to the long tube on the DD.... But thats personal preference.

Honestly, if I was buying again now, I would get the Bushmaster deal from IRunGuns. 625 for an AR? You cannot go wrong. Bushmaster has a very good name as well.

Otherwise, both dealer companies had excellent service, Wolverine being a bit more personal, because it's smaller, but IRunGuns were great as well and very quick. I ordered it on the 14th and it showed up on the 1st. I can't complain about that!

I went with the deal from Wolverine after months spent researching AR's and the business' selling them. I found Wolverine to be an excellent business to deal with as they stand behind what they sell with integrity and incredible service. As for the DD rifle it would be very difficult to find a better value in an AR and at the price they are now being sold at they are an incredible deal.
One thing the DD has on the Colt is it's cold hammer forged barrel, although the Colt is a good rifle I obviously prefer the DD. You really can't go wrong with either rifle though so just handle each one and choose which you like best if possible. If you can't do that then choosing which furniture you prefer might help you decide and ultimately which one looks better to you. (It doesn't matter how well an item performs if you don't like the way it looks you probably won't be happy with it.)

Shrubmaster isn't even in the same ballpark as DD colt or others of high pedigree. Shrubmaster is low end junk.

Op, good decision on your part. Both brands are solid and you won't be disappointed with either.

I have a V7. Great rifle, plenty accurate out of the box and very light which for me a plus. You won't be disappointed with the fit and finnish either, definetly something you'll be proud to own. Not to mention it's a nice looking rifle as is.

The 6920 is $1049. and the heavy barrel 6721 is only $50 more, man these are tough to pick from, so many variations! I can understand why some folks have more than 1!!!!

I just a got a DDM4V5 and its amazing. Strapped on mbuis and they were zero'd without any adjustments. Threw on a TRS-25 and it was zero'd in two clicks. Blew my mind. Hitting 6" Steel at 100 yards no problem with no magnification and with Norinco suprlus. Not a single jam. Super stoked I went the the DD.
Im OCD about spending, and for a hammerforged barrel on a AR, you just cant beat a DD, especially with the prices out there right now. Jump on it, you will not regret it.

My DDM4V7 rocks. Great rifle, works flawlessly. Wolverine customer, great service and easy to deal with, sale and transfer were painless. Go for it.
