DD mk18 ris II install question

Hi guys,
So I just ordered this handguard for an upcoming build. Couple questions in hindsight.
I am planning on mounting this on a bcm m4 flat top upper and spikes lower.
I have a 14.5" DD barrel with carbine length gas system. Will any low pro gas block work or does it have to be the mk12?

Will there be any compatibility issues with any of my set up?

There are some that don't fit. Most of the set screw type ones will fit fine. I would recommend the Spikes micro gas block or the Troy version.

Well for the price I got it for I guess I can splurge on a slightly more expensive gb. The mk12 is 80 bucks from wolverine.

I don't think the Geissele LPG will fit either. It wouldn't fit in my DD Lite rail which has a larger diameter than the RIS II.

Im thinking I'll go with the DD or the badger ordinance for 10 bucks less. One thing I'm thinking is that my tapco ar tool may not work though. Might have to see if someone would be willing to loan me the DD one.

The RIS used to come with the proper wrench but maybe not anymore. Be advised that if you do go with the MK12 GB you'll need to drill your barrel to allow the longer set screws to sink in. Most others don't require this. I've installed both and used both extensively, and in my opinion, you don't NEED the extra security of the MK12 when it's protect by the rail system. It's also beefier and heavier than the others.
