DD RIS handguard plastic panels

Does anyone else have problems with the rubber panels and ladder that comes with brown DD RIS? They seem to be too tough and undersized to fit on the handguard. Anyone else?

They are just a ##### to put on....the ladders and covers will fit.

Are you talking specifically about the two panels or the the ladders as well? My ladders fit fine....but I admit I never did try the panels...gave em away.

You can give them to me for free if you want

I'm talking about the ladders (assuming GT is as well). I'm not even close to getting them on (which is why I gave up)

try soaking them in hot/boiling water, dry 'em off and they should be soft enough to install. You don't want to tarry too long though. I like the Magpul and Tango Down stuff better.

Mine (the ladders) were tough to put on the first time. Peeled them off to reposition, and went on a lot easier. Needed a tool to take them off - so I know the won't go missing by accident.
