De-activated Bren Gun Value

They've been going up. I've decided to keep mine now, so I'll give Mr Clark a plug here, the last batch he restored seemed to sell very fast. He had them listed at $2500+ if I remember correctly. I love these guns, really, really wish we could shoot them. I'd hunt with mine. I think that would be really cool (locked on Rounds obviously!).

It seems well priced from what I have seen. I just paid $1500 for a 12.3 BREN with a few accessories. Who knows when the RCMP will allow the transfer

It is a lot of money for a door stop. However people pay more than that for a couch. Put the couch and the Bren side by side in your living room and guess which one your guests will want to talk about. And in ten years which one will end up in land fill while the other probably increases in value.

I can tell you which one they'd rather sit on for 10 years of ball games and Netflix.

Point is, the couch serves the purpose it was made for. A deactivated Bren, not so much.

Remembering history? Learning aid? Decor? Conversation piece? Art? Making the owner happy?
You may not see the point but many do... I don't see a point of silly mag conversions and tapco stacks on skses. You might.
