De-capping .50BMG brass...

I use my press drill with the pin of a resizing die I sit the casing on a block of hard wood with a drilled hole through and a washer on top for more stability I de-prime all my brass that way before cleaning. Adjust the drill plate for size
(I actually made that pin (on the picture) out of a 1/4 steel rod from cdn tire and the grinder. Heat it up and quench the pin for hardness. Length can be as you need)

I have the CH4D 50 BMG bushing die and, as you realized, just pop out the bushing and you have a basic decapping die. Just be sure the decapping pin is tight, as any play on the pin is a receipe for breakage of the pin!

Ram priming the .50 is a reloading step that I approach very carefully!
