A year ago I bought a well used, sporterized Belgian Mauser from a fellow CGNer. Its not the best shooter anymore and the bolt is a little sticky after firing. The crest has also been scrubbed. It is the 1950 variety that has been re chambered to 30-06. I am interested in putting the stock back into original military configuration because it sticks out in my collection. I would prefer to have used all Belgian parts but there is not a really great selection on Numrich besides the stock.
I am wondering if anyone can offer any insight into what handguards, barrel bands and stock parts would share compatibility with this Mauser. The rear sight elevation bar is also loose and I would prefer to change it as well.
