Deactivated M1 for a decent deal

Anyone know where I can buy one? I need a gun for an ATV project build but it will be on display at trade shows so the gun needs to be de-activated.

Any help would be great. I also need a WW2 grenade to use as a shift handle.

On a related note I'm looking for an unserviceable Garand receiver with the receiver ring intact or at least the front part of a receiver with an uncracked receiver ring. I want to make a tool out of it for a bit of experimentation.

Im not looking for someone to sell me one, just wondering if anyone knows where I can get one. Any shops that sell them. I thought that was cool in this section. If not, my mistake.

Go to ebay and buy a movie prop rifle. Costs about $200. you have to be real close to see it is fake.

I shudder at the thought of welding up a M1.
