If anyone wants deactivated mil surplus there is a bunch at Hero Surplus located in Ontario.

Grand, ak's, pistols.

Hero eh - did you actually 'see' the items or are they drop shipped/vapourware like half the items on their website.

Took me 4 months to get money back from them for an item they said they had in stock.

Hero outdoors is less than trusted as far as I'm concerned. I sold them a few things, and after telling me the stuff I gave them wasn't worth much, they advertised everything I gave them for less individually than what they payed me for. An awful company that obviously doesn't care for anything other than their bottom line.

Ummmm businesses can't stay in business if they don't buy low and sell higher.

From your post, I believe you meant they sold the stuff for more than they paid you for it.

That's what business is all about.

Still, they wouldn't be my first choice to purchase from. Maybe if I were in the store and they had what I wanted at the price I felt was fair, but otherwise they seem to have a very negative track record with people whose word I trust.

Yes I know their reputation, not great at all. The dewats are listed on their site; I don't know if they actually exist or not but if someone is looking for those things, It could be a start.

Yeah, I've had a bad experience with them, took 4 months for a few small items to arrive when they showed in stock, just a run around emailing and calling them.
As for the dewats they have up.....look at the photos of those items, the AT4 is pictured on some dirty carpet, others with towels and sheets of different colors in the back ground and some on slat wall. Looks like they just grabbed pictures off the net as far as I'm concerned.

I've been in their store and was surprised that 3/4 of the items they were advertising online were out of stock. when asked when they would be getting it. the answerer was........
