Several weeks ago, True North Arms quietly sent in an application for a Business Firearms License. After a few weeks of eager anticipation, TNA was approved to sell lower receivers, complete AR-15s, and ammunition. This is a huge milestone because we are now set to become a one-stop shop for all essential AR-15 parts.

We are so excited about this new growth that we've decided to pop our firearms cherry with a weekend deal on a pair of FN-15 Patrol SBRs (Short-Barrelled Rifles) because we don't see FN AR's often enough. They are being offered at $121 off the suggested retail price, and TNA will throw in a free Ambi Mag Release ($52.31 value) and two (2) free 5/30 Tapco magazines (2x 22.97 = $45.94 value), to help kick off this new phase of our business.

Do FN make good AR15? How do they compare to LMT, PWS, Noveske, Sig and etc?
It just seems that I haven't seen anyone talking about it or brag about it.

I believe FN USA was awarded the us military contact to produce the M16 and M4 for some time now. So you would think they could build a decent AR. Are they comparable to the others you mentioned? I have no first hand knowledge either way.

Edit: Powerwagon beat me to it. Slow typing on my phone...lol.

As others have said, yes they are up to spec. However the top notch ones have their Cold hammer forged fn 249 barrels. Which is what your ADCOR uppers are sporting. With those barrels they are comparable to Colt Canada, lmt etc. without, they are more like Colt USA comparable.

First thing I checked was which barrel these came with.

Have had great service with you guys from your online store, great to hear about your development! In case anyone is not familiar with TNA, their site is great with 8 dollar flat rate shipping and easy to navigate AR-15 parts and add ons.
 
I have only ordered once so far but I got some great AR parts shipped to me really quick and easy. Interested to see which rifles you get.
