I've been a good boy this year and deserve a new shotgun. Unfortunately I can't find a dealer who stocks new Ithacas.
I went through the old posts but didn't find anything.

cheers

Reading the US gunboards -- it is my understanding that they are selling direct to the consumer in the states. Dealers can also special order for customers. They do not plan to establish a dealer network for several years.

If you're looking for a model 37/87, you can buy mine. I have a new and unfired model 87 (Same as the M37. M87 is what it was renamed for 3 years in the late 80's before they changed it back to M37).

I bought this one from a gunstore closeout sale. Comes with a couple of choke tubes.

I was talking to one of their parts reps a few weeks ago when looking for a rifled slug barrel and asked the same question, the fellow said sometime in the 1st quarter of 2007 we would see them up here. Seemed like a very professional customer service system they have there....

Yes I heard the same thing Corsair, apparently they are having quite the time with Uncle Sam's red tape.
I listened to a taped interview with the new CEO of Ithaca USA, and they cannot even manufacture single shot rifles (even 22s) or handguns, due to the "insurance" rules they must follow according to the buy out agreement with the "old" Ithaca company.
What a pile of crap, but at least they are making M37s again......
