What would that have to do with the Question?
You need a Fed tax -gst #
Provincial business licence.
Municipal busness "
Building permits, and inspections and alarm systems
Fed CFO inspections, etc.
I am likley forgetting stuff- O- yes, lots of money helps
also ( been at it 30+ years)

DOH! Being employed in a gun shop is the other way. You won't get a dealer's permit just because you want one though. Mind you, there's a firearms business licence and a dealer's ATT. http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/fab-eaf-eng.htm
