Bought one last week from a site sponsor, worked my magic to get it approved on Thursday, sent the dealer my transfer notification email from the CFO attached to my order number email from them. I was in a local shop earlier in the week and the owner told me some dealers are selling stuff they don't have yet as he's a part of the latest shipment for that particular gun, and still to this day doesn't have it in hand.

Emailed the dealer again the next day. Called the dealer this morning to find out if they got it and if they even have the gun in store to ship yet and he mumbled something about them having the serial numbers and that transfers take 2-3 months to approve.
I repeated that it was approved and sent the email again with the TN attached, and told him to ship it Monday. Pretty sure I'm not getting that shipping notification Monday.

If I don't, I'll list the store name as an FYI to others that are buying.

Seriously, you wanna ##### about a business practice when you’re gouging on the EE and put in your add “don’t complain that’s how she goes”

Same thing goes for this situation, you’re a cockroach.
And it’s absolutely no surprise you’re from the lower wasteland, you fit right in.

How is it any different than your EE listings?

"Full disclosure - this is registered to me but I'm still waiting for it to arrive with my box of goodies. Photos of this exact gun not yet available, aside from the ones I snipped from the store's ad. Posting early to give people a head-start on transfer initiation. Mods, let me know if this crosses the rules."

You're selling on speculation too with no stock in hand. Only wrong when they do it?

Not to mention profiteering at $3500 for a P226 Legion that I held in hand last week for $1899.

God, I saw his add and didn’t realize just how bad it was.. not only is OP a complete moron but his #### doesn’t stink either.
I hope you don’t even get the CZ you’re waiting for OP.
Karma…

It’s only profiteering if somebody buys it. I don’t think anyone’s that stupid, but if they are there’s some sort of proverb about fools and money.

My bet is when the hammer drops opportunists are left holding a bag of guns they didn’t really want.

Who wants to bet money he sold this handgun already and can't ship to his buyer?

Sounds like a 'you' problem.

Wonder how that goes if you legally "own" a handgun in transit but you sold/transferred it to another before it lands or is physically processed by the dealer (already digitally processed). Isnt the dealer then shipping it to you illegal possession as it no longer belongs to either of you in the eyes of the government?

Maybe the dealer should verify their registration certificate before shipping in this single instance
