Deals on .45 acp?

Does anyone have any great deals on the .45acp ammo? I want about 1000 rounds or more. Where is the cheapest ammo that I will get my hands on? The cheapest that I have seen is $310. You can email me the place if you don't want everyone knowing!
 
You won't find factory ammo cheaper than that. If you want to shoot on the cheap you should have gone 9mm. The only way to get cheaper is start reloading.
 
Thanks for the reply! I guess I will stick with the $310 for 1000 rounds from norinco. Might need to save up a bit of brass before I start reloading though! and maybe it is time to get a new fire arm to shoot some cheaper rounds..

Custom Reloaders (site sponsor, look for their forum) may do better than that, but shipping can be an issue. OP, if you put a location into your profile info you may get better suggestions.

I woudn't either.

Shipping from Vancouver to Montreal for a case of 45... Probably very close to $100!! Better be getting it from CanAm w/free shipping and save $70!!

I have ordered from Lever Arms, an I have no complaints. It cost me about 50 dollars more than CanadaAmmo, but it was shipped out the same day. Also their customer service is a lot better and seem to be more friendly on the phone.
