Decaying? The RCBS decapping assembly is the same size on any die. Send 'em an e-mail or call 'em. They'll very likely send you one for free. Their warrantee is on the kit and they don't care who bought it first or how it got damaged.
lol.. my bad. I don't understand how I misspelled that. Unfortunately I don't have the time to wait, with a course coming up in a few weeks. But I'll certainly give rcbs a call. Thanks for letting me know.

Most RCBS 308 Dies will use the Large size Pin
A friend of mine picked up a old set of 243 RCBS Dies and the pin was the Small Size
FYI 308 and 243 use the same shell holder
there is also new pins with a head on them
Look at the one you have and measure the pin and check if it has a head or not and get a replacment pack of 5 pins available at most LGS

I figured it was the large one, but couldn't mind any info to support it. I'll call rcbs today and see if I can get a new pin and expander ball.
