Picked up a set of dies at the Kamloops show today, and the decapping pin adjustment lock nut on the full length sizing die is frozen solid.Any suggestions on loosening it?I should still be able to load with the die, just want it in working order! Thanks,Mur

I doubt if there is anything wrong with the die. Start out by putting apiece of rubber, such as cut from an old inner tube, or even a large rubber band that is about 3/8 inch wide. Put pliers over this, the rubber will prevent the pliers from marring the nut. Especially, if the pliers don't slip. Have the die body in some device to hold it solid, and with the pliers over the rubber, unscrew the nut.
Before you try this, put a good penetrating oil, like Krol, or even WD40, around the nut.

Thanks H4831,there is enough pin showing to decap primers without a problem,I'm even wondering if it was screwed right down intentionally so no movement was possible. Not much need to adjust the decapping pin once its set!I'd still like to get it loose tho'! Gunner
