Decelerator pad or a limbsaver

I've decided I should up the recoil pads on my RUM and on my 270 win from the factory offerings. Is there much of a difference in the quality of a limbsaver vs a decelerator pad? I have used R3 limbsavers on the remington SPS but I have never tried a decelerator.

Tried both and they worked well. The LimbSaver seemed squishier to me.

I see wholesale sports has both the Decelerator and the limbsaver in the 2006 hunting catalogue. The Limbsaver is sold under the SVL brand name.
