Hey All

Most websites still list Diana 34's but all say out of stock. The one place I can find them has a price over $600.00.
Anyone have a recommendation for a good quality spring gun, at a more reasonable price, that can be serviced over its lifetime?

We have a serious tree rodent problem and i cannot fire powder guns in my urban area.

I would prefer a .177 but what is available may change my mind.

Manufacturer and model number would be very helpful.

Done, Those 'rats' are pretty tough fellas. I agree with using a 22 instead of 177, esp with the pellets being ca twice the weight - or more.

Unless distance/flat shooting is more important, 22 pellets have done far better pesting for me, and in the 400-600fps range. I also try to use wad-cutters, as I have little faith that HPs etc. expand at those velocities. I've shot more pigeons with air rifles than anything else, the wad cutters bust them up pretty good.

The 22 Hades can manage most of the tree rats hit at vitals, but the gray squirrel I am finding extremely durable. Head shots on these are mostly difficult aiming straight up between branches, sometimes need 2-3 hits on exposed body parts to bring them to the ground.
