deciphering Norinco CQ numbers to find year of manufacture?

was wondering if anyone knew how to read the serial numbers to get the year off the gun?

im GUESSING that the lasts 2 digits are the year of manufacture? would this be a fair guess?

example;

000555-10 would be a 2010 model?
001234-11 would be a 2011 model?

Possibly....Year it was made available for sale anyway. Could have been made 10 years ago for all we know, etched and sold recently.
