Decision time: Savage 10 Precsion Carbine or 10TR 20"

Looking to build a budget long(ish) range .308/back up hunting rifle.

Other than the paint on the stock, and the obscenely large bolt knob on the 10TR is there any difference between these 2 to justify the almost $200 price difference on the PC? If not, has anyone found scope clearance issues with the 10TR?
