Decisions Decisions.. What to do?

Keep the AR then flip a coin to see which one you will buy FIRST... Cause common, it won't end here...

I've got several Swiss Arms and a Tavor. I'll never sell my Swiss Arms. I like both designs, but the Swiss is, by a wide margin, the better built and more accurate rifle.

Here's the smart answer ^^^

The Swiss runs circles around the Tavor all day everyday. The mechanical offset of the Tavor, the difficult reloads, the inability to transition shoulders and its less accurate performance make it a non starter. If you're going to keep the AR you would be smart to run the Swiss with the NEA AR lower adaptor or other AR magazine adaptor so your magazine supply is universal.

Did you decide?

If not, please take another vote for TAVOR. Don't mind about those who don't understand this great gun.

Go to a store that has it and try its fit. If it works for you than you can buy an excellent gun, battle and harsh terrain proven, exceptional ergonomics, fast mag change and bolt release, very good balance, little muzzle raise.

I'm leaning towards the tavor :p I sent a few pics to my friends and everyone chose the tavor! Probably put a nice 1-4 on it if I sell my EOTech too

Out to 500-600 yards as well, as we've seen a few guys posted some range results? Just curious.

I was more referring to TDC's comments about the 'mechanical offset of the Tavor', 'difficult reloads' and 'less accurate performance'. I don't find any of the controls on the Tavor (including the magazine release) awkward in the least. Mind you, I'm not necessarily a speed demon or running drills, either. I just enjoy the Tavor for what it is.

As for accuracy, I haven't had a chance to try it out with the new barrel yet - but I'm told it's night and day.

They have a new barrel? I'm a wee bit out of the loop on what the latest model may offer so I ask this as curious mind want to know!

I have both as well. I won't be selling either one.

For off hand shooting, the Tavor hands down. For mostly bench shooting the Swiss Arms.

Tavor! I didn't have a chance to shoot mine yet but let me tell you...you won't be disappointed. Ergonomics and quality are top notch.

Now I'm saving for ElcanDR 1-4..:nest:

I put on my TAVOIR the Eotech MPO II combo (holo red dot plus 3X magnifier). They get together like bread and butter. Plus, in spring I take out the Eotech combo and install it on my Benelli Super Vinci for ... turkey hunting!:sniper:

I had a swiis arms classic green. Really nice rifle but an awful lot of money for something made out of stamped sheet metal.
