Well,, I sort of took the challenge yesterday and after a bit of zeroing at 50 yards, fired the Palma target at 25 yards off-hand. I didn't shoot the turkey target. I plan on doing it again next weekend with both targets.

My score was 3 x bulls (no X bulls), 1 x nine and 1 x eight for a total of 47.0

I won't be posting a digital copy of the target until I resolve some technical issues at my end.

Edited to Add: The rifle I used was a percussion Lyman Great Plains in .54 cal. I used Hornady .535 balls over 70 grains of ffg.

Well,, I finally got the time to upload some pics from December.

These were from 22 Dec 2006 in Stittsville and were my best in about 3 tries. The rifle was a Lyman Great Plains in .54 cal.
