I had a good deer hunt again this year, my cousin Todd and his friend Dave and his father came up for another memorable hunt. Todd took a nice five by five with a sako finnbear in 7mm mag at about fifty yards.
I took a very wide one, over 25 inches although only a four by four at around a hundred yards with a 25-06 with 110 accubond
Dave took a nice five by five, although not very heavy which I cannot find the pic for, but we did find a very nice dead one that I got him to pose for,he has yet to find the monster he is looking for but this one would have probably filled the bill, he was shooting a nice tikka in 300 win mag.
It was a great hunt with great people, no snow made it a bit difficult but for mid nov was quite warm. Looking forward to next year already. They took me on an elk hunt by calgary in late october where we took a bull and a cow. Good year altogether.
