I was wondering what the more experienced hunters do as the season progresses. Do you change up your tactics?? Are the deer really that spooked( wouldn't blame them) that a walk about would be unproductive??
I'm rural, so I hoof it to the hunting ground, I don't use a truck or anything. I've also noticed a lot less tracks than expected. When I went out on opening day, I had no snow to deal with, so I was much quieter than today, being the girlfriends pack mule!
Thoughts, tips, tricks welcomed.
