Deer hunting (or cooking) pics

My buddy came down to my cabin at Crooked Lake last night. We spent today hunting, mostly walking the bush. Great day - never fired a shot!!! The close rifle is a 1951 .32 Winchester Special, the far one a 30-30. Lunch tasted pretty good!!

Ham sausage. That makes more sense.

At first look, all I could figure was a stick through a tinned ham, over the fire.

I was wondering if it fell off.

Sure you can! Freshly harvested deer tenderloins wrapped in their own caul fat and sprinkled with salt.
