Hey Guys,

More stupid reloading questions coming your way...

When shopping for a gun, it's easy to figure out the MSRP and Price shop between different websites and store fronts...

But for someone starting out (looking for a used press and stock piling components) how am I supposed to know good prices?

Powder, bullets, primers etc

Does someone have a break down of typical costs?

Thanks!

Same way. Educate yourself. Websites, catalogs, etc.

Go to a bunch of gunshows.

There is no definitive price on anything.

If someone has it, and you want it and can afford it, buy it. You could be getting a deal, or you could have driven the price up for the next guy, or not.

Educate yourself! When you see a deal and recognize it as such, you will know.

Cheers

I agree with trevj, order some catolags from Wholesale Sports, Cabela's Canada, Epps, whom ever... they can be ordered for free over the internet. You probably won't find that the prices are that much different from store to store.

I usually just check prices against WSS's website. If a price is better than WSS it's probably a pretty good deal. That's not to say that their prices can't be beat (sometimes by alot) but it's a way of establishing where the bar is set. Sometimes you just have to buy from the stores that actually have what you're looking for in stock.
