It's the so called pencil barrel that was taken off from S&W model 10.
Probably made in the 60's or 70's.
Prohibited length, so You may expect limited interest and lower price than for the restricted counterpart.
Price depends on condition - inside (rifling) and outside (blueing). Nice find!
