From what I hear, the falcons are good scopes for the $. From experience, so are the Vortex scopes. I have the Viper 6.5-20X44 PA, and I'm very happy with it. Outstanding warranty, too.

Is the 5.5-25 even out yet? I have a 4-14 and a 4.5-18 and think they are the shizzle.

I spoke with Nick from Falcon Optics, he said that the whole annodizing problem put them back about a month.

I've used Falcon 4-14 for about 2 years and it was a great scope for the money, I shot my best groups with it from my .308 10FP

Now can't wait to get my hands on the new 5.5-25x50 with hashmarks

I think if you got the funds for Falcon, then buy it, if you can afford few more hundreds by Sightron SIII LR (you'd need to wait for backorders a little)
