Like the title says. I need someone in Vancouver to grind down my stock gas block for my Norc M4 for a FF rail. I don't have the place and tools to do so. Id like someone that has done afew of these before to do to mind for me. Thanks!

i had the guys at Reliable gun remove it for me... that way is can put it back on for resale...

buy a dremel

TRUTH!

$10 mastercraft dremel, $10 mastercraft bit = $80 savings.

It is not hard to do it at all. you can tell where the gas tube is and just cut and grind off everything above. Kills resale though, but saves buying and going through the headache of mounting a low profile gas block or paying a gunsmith to do it.

Hammer and punch from the hardware store, and get a low profile gas block, that's your best bet, than altering something that it's not meant for.... Like grinding down a car so you can ride it like a motorcycle

:agree:

Those 'rinco front sight base pins don't come out easily. You'll need a bigger hammer.

Not sure how much he will charge, but you can ask, and he's local. He's a metal fabricator, and he does other stuff too:

He did all of the work for my two Norcs and I've never had any issues:
