By the way thanks guy for rainning on my parade really classy!:slap:

First of I never said I was in the us!!! Second you are alowed to buy under 100$ per transaction!

$100 wholesale Exported by an entity licensed to do so. You are not an exporter. Regardless if you do decide to violate U.S. law, I wouldn't go bragging about it on a public forum.

i believe they are upping the amount to 500$ sans paper work.

I believe this is so, exporters like Brownells are slow on the ball and waiting for legal departments to confirm such. Manufacturers and exporters will still need to be licensed/registered to do so and it will only be applicable to non-major firearms parts so receivers/uppers will still require paperwork.

Let's be clear I'm not trying to rain on the OP's parade, as silly as some of the laws can be it's perhaps more foolish to openly post on a public forum about ones said violation of such law. It can only lead to bad things, such as more frequently checked vehicles before leaving the States.

The $500 limit increase doesn't pertain to firearms parts:

Itar regs http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/documents/official_itar/ITAR_Part_121.pdf describes Category 1 firearms section h describes components, parts and attachments. Then in http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/documents/official_itar/ITAR_Part_126.pdf subsection 126.5 paragraph b. item 6 references back to the category 1 firearms and states that they need a licence. Which brings us back to 123.16 paragraph b item 2 which states that firearms are exempt from the $500.00 limit and are governed by 123.17 paragraph (a) which caps the export limit for category 1 items at $100.00 wholesale. Confusing yes, but Brownells is correct.
