16 is a stretch and not really on point to what I asked , but hey guess I open myself to all comers . The mag tube and back sight and such are factory chromed . The elevator is goldish. The barrel and receiver is the “ copper “ Buckskin Tan” they call it . Receiver is a mottled design . So ya a few different flavours . Then I suppose angles and lighting . Sure . Go with that .

There is one on Gunbroker right now with a start bid of $750, and no bids. Ending in a couple of days, and looks like very little interest. Nice gun you have there. I think it is a very desireable gun to the right person, however too late for a Christmas present for that special son or daughter. I would put on the market after Christmas and see what offers you get. I have one myself (not the buckskin) and they are great rifles.

It's one of those birds that will need to find a specific owner if you want top dollar. I could see it fetching decent coin at auction, but would be a hard sell on here. The rarity should bring some value, but the ugliness detracts significantly lol. New ones go for $750+ which is pretty steep, I've picked up lightly used field/speed for $350 fairly recently.
If you need to get rid of it, $500+$600 might sell on here, otherwise hold onto it for a few decades and it might come back in style...
Possibly the ugliest gun I've ever seen lol.

Probably has the attention of a couple of the Remington guys on here...but agreed, I'd post it in the EE after Christmas. As for value~I don't watch these things THAT close, but the $500-$600 mark sounds right. I'd like to maybe own it myself, but too many "irons in the fire" for now.

Nice piece!
