Accumulator: Surprisingly have seen these at shows out here. My general recollection is an asking price of around $2600.00. Worth much more in the USA but probably limited demand up here keeps prices down.

There was was for sale here at the local gun store for 7k. Sanded stock and mismatched bolt, but the bluing and markings were enact.
Needless to say it will be sitting there for a while.

I just read the book about Melvin Johnson's rifles and for some strange reason hardly any rifle left the factory with matching parts.

I considered and passed on a rebuilt Johnson with repro parts and a modern Parkerized finish for about $3k. Too many things to dislike with that piece.

saw one at pickering gun show last week numbers I saw matched finnish was good and looked orig he was asking $4000.00 serial IIRC was 00400 400 for sure maybe 0400???

There were no Matching Numbers Johnson Rifles period, they are All mismatched numbers as they left the factory and were recorded in books. This data is still available on the Johnson Rifle Forum for certain blocks of letters in the serial number (And Very Accurate). Some of the Data/Books were lost, I think in a fire? or just lost.

If you see a Matching Numbers Johnson rifle, someone (crooked and uninformed seller!) ground down the numbers and restamped them not knowing what he was doing.
