Winchester Mod 94 30-30, whats a fair price? SOLD tx for your help.


I have one to sell, looks new, maybe 20 rounds fired. Just sits in the safe. Does have some minor scratches on the foregrip from it's one and only hunting trip.
Thanks for your suggestions of a fair price to ask.

What year was it made? I wouldn't pay more than $400 from the sounds of things, those scratches look pretty bad for one hunting trip.
 
New in box might get $600 but this one certainly won't. Assuming you are dealing with a regular post-64 Winchester 94 in 30.30, the most I can see it fetching is $375 or maybe $400. Like was mentioned, A/E or other variations might change that. But you can get a pre-64 94 30.30 in mint condition for $475-$500 so I don't see why anybody would pay more than $400 for this one.

Yes my buddy did that damage! Rested it on a fallen tree to take a shot. He missed, to add a second kick in the nutz.

Where did it say post-64 in that statement? There are many used Winchester 94's out there priced into the thousands of dollars.

FWIW, if you can find a near new M-94 in 375, 356 or 307, I'm willing to bet you won't get it for much less than $600. You are aware they came in calibers other than 30-30,right? ;)

It would be an extremely rare situation if it was pre 64 and the OP knew it only fired about 20 shots.
Dinged up post 64, imo, would sit on the market for some time at $300.

I just got a 95% 307 without the cross bolt safety with checkered stocks for 350 shipped to my door. When it arrives I will post pics. I know where there are 2 pre 64 model 94's for 300 bucks. Both in nice used condition. 1 is a 32 special the other is 30-30.

Great deal, but certainly not the norm. I also wasn't aware that the 307's were sold with uncheckered stocks, was that the Wal-Mart version?

My point was that not every Winchester Model 94 is worth under $600, care to argue that point? Let's not forget the '94 Trapper. They go for near or over $600 quite regularily on the EE.
