They are very accurate with Lapua Scénars 77 gr even if the ROT is i in 9, i get the best accuracy from that bullet... JP.

I was loading 55gr VMAX over 24-26gr Varget if I remember correctly.

One thing I would watch out for it rust. I had a Franchi and a Cordoba and both would get tiny rust spots on the action if you weren't careful to keep it well oiled an clean. I imagine the MR1s receiver is made of the same material and likely has the same paint my Cordoba had.

I like mine a lot, but I wish I could get the Comfortech stock for it. I have same stock as the one in the OPs picture, and I find it drops way too much for a comfortable mounting of the gun on my shoulder with everything at the right height, especially with the optics having to go so high above the built-in sights.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Benelli did that.

If anyone knows how I can get just the comfortech stock for this rifle, or wants to trade with my existing fixed stock (I'll throw in some extra money), I'd be interested.

I like them and they shoot well for me. I made sure that my scope setups allowed me to keep them on the rifle.

The irons are the same as the Supernova tactical, much like a polymer version of LPA sights. The MR1 ships with both the same ghost ring aperture as the SN and a smaller aperture. The rifles are light, balanced and super reliable. Just don't buy one and expect to run it like an AR. Get an XCR, JRC/TD etc if you need non res ARness. Think of it more like an Italian Mini 14 that takes AR mags and shoots well.

That is true, the rifle is very clearly designed to have a good instinctive sight picture when using irons. If you plan on running a scope you will have a cheek weld going on but I'm pretty sure Mesa Tactical makes an adjustable cheek rest that's house work , or you can just go with Kydex.
