I am looking to buying one of these in 5x20x50mm. I was just wondering if there any people with some feedback. I am not familiar with Trijicon . Are they a reliable scope. The main reason is the illuminated green dot, I want it for varmint ie Beavers and Moose. So shooting close to dark is normal. If there are any other scopes that are tough and reliable, with an illuminated dot I would be glad to hear about them as well.

I don't have the 5-20, but I have a couple 3-9x40s which I love. They have become my favourite hunting scopes, and I also own Zeiss and Swarovski. Optically I think both Zeiss and Swarovski beat them but for hunting, the reticle is awesome and really needs to be experienced in low light conditions to be appreciated.
As far as reliability goes, I ran one on a .375H&H with no issues.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well from looking through one...it's the reticle I think would be worth it.

I have one on my AICS 308. The reticle is great. Dual illumination with fibre optic and tritium. No batteries, I like that. I have an MOA adjustment and mildot reticle. It's only downfall is 20 MOA +/- of adjustment. I have a 20 moa rail on the rifle if I decide to shoot the long range stuff.

It's a solid scope and comes with a sunshade, lens pen and bikini type covers. I like mine. No complaints.

Thanks guys..
can`t wait to try one out..they are about $1500 plus tax for the 5-20x50..I am not concerned to much with the elevation for my application lol
