according to the Vortex site (from reading the associated manuals for the Vortex Viper HS 4-16x 44) the scope is a second focal plain scope .... very best of luck with your complaint.

Yea I was looking at that too... the scope is about as old as Vortex though, GEN 1. As I said, maybe I’m crazy but it won’t be a complaint Vortex service is awesome, so it will be an inquiry.
