Yup to the point I removed it . I think gun oils break it down .being some one who always had wood stocked guns .and would wipe the whole gun down with an oily rag .I did this with my maxus stalker shotgun ..just alittle over a year ago it got really gooie .I used a scotchbrite pad and rubbing alchol for removal . It looks like any other black plastic stock .this is the guns 9th waterfowl season so it did take time to break down .

I have 2 x-bolt rifles. One is a composite stalker and one is a carbon fibre SS. Both with duratouch. The composite stalker is about 12 yrs old and the other is about 8 yrs old. The composite stalker has become noticeably sticky and the carbon fibre maybe a bit more grippy but I'm afraid it will get sticky in a few more years. I sent them both in to Browning Canada to get new stocks. Browning knows there is an issue with their duratouch and it is prone to break down and become sticky. They're replacing my stocks on warranty. I was told they'd be back to me in three weeks. That was two months ago. Still waiting for their return.

I would have just bought an aftermarket stock.

Talked to Browning Canada and wasn't impressed with the impression I got from the representative. She has obviously no idea of what I was talking about. All she said was send it back and they'll re-dip it. No mention of postage or warranty.

I think I shall just keep it as is and apply baby powder as needed.

Yep. Mine is on a shotgun but has been sticky since about 6 months after it was new. I just keep using it and it really doesn't bother me for a waterfowl gun
Cheers
