Have you attended any PRS-style events in Alberta? There are a number of them. Considering in all PRS-style matches the shooter only gets points if they hit and gets 0 points for a miss, I would say that the priority is hitting the target.

Here is one video of one such event (well, technically a few km across the SK border). There are more videos from the same channel, including one from the Canadian Sharpshooter Classic event that was in Alberta.

Honestly I'm not really sure what you're asking? It seems to me that "T-Class" is just an umbrella term/organization under which most Eastern Euro "tactical precision" shooting falls? I'm not sure what you've shot for matches but yeah, Canada mostly has PRS/PRS-style matches as they are more easily adapted to existing ranges, which makes life waaaaaaaay easier for the match director/organizer. The only non-PRS style centrefire match I can think of is the RTC match (team field/ukd type match) that's held in Manitoba. We just don't have a ton of viable venues here (not that we haven't been looking) for field matches as they require a ton of space, generally the ability to run "blind"stages and other organizational/logistical complications. If you'd like to shoot something more varied than the typical PRS-style match, the best answer is to look to the States where there are tons of different formats (all the Competition Dynamics matches, Mammoth Sniper Challenge, Vortex Sniper Series, and so on and so forth). Getting an ATF Form 6NIA is easy and free and that's good to get into the States with your firearms to shoot matches for a year.
