My picture is from a slightly different angle, but there isn't a huge difference it appears (maybe mine comes up a bit higher?). I also pushed mine up manually, so it could also be where your mag is contacting it not pushing it high enough? I haven't had a single issue of the BHO not working since I've owned the rifle with any of the magazines I have
